Agent Pay

Agent Pay lets an AI assistant buy things on your behalf — without ever holding your card.

You connect an agent to your Oobit account. From then on, when the agent needs to pay for something, Oobit issues a card made for that single purchase and nothing else. The agent never sees your real card, and never gets a card it can reuse somewhere else.

How it works

1. Connect your agent. The agent asks to connect to Oobit. You approve the connection in the Oobit app.
2. The agent requests a purchase. It tells Oobit what it wants to buy, from which merchant, and for how much.
3. Oobit issues a single-use card. Funds are set aside from your balance to cover it.
4. The agent pays. The card works for that one purchase, then stops working.

Every purchase shows up in your Oobit account like any other card payment.

What you need

An active Oobit account. Agent Pay funds purchases from your existing Oobit balance and identifies you during the connection step.

What keeps it safe

🔒 One card, one purchase
Each card is created for a specific purchase and can't be used again.

📈 Spending limits
Limits cap what a connected agent can spend, so a mistake stays small.

💳 Funds held upfront
The purchase amount is set aside when the card is issued, plus a small buffer for tax and shipping.

⛔ Disconnect any time
Revoke an agent's access from the Oobit app and it can't request anything further.

Which agents work with it

Agent Pay uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard for connecting AI assistants to outside services. Any assistant that supports MCP connectors can connect to Oobit.
